The Art of Russell Pierce

Like so many authors on my list, I saw a movie based on one of his works before delving into the book versions. Such is the case with Crichton. I saw The Andromeda Strain in 1971 and decided to read the book. That made me a lifetime fan of Michael Crichton and I would read most of his books well before the movie versions were made. Jurassic Park and the sequel, Congo, Sphere, Rising Sun, Disclosure, Airframe, Timeline and Prey to name a few.

 

Crichton was also a medical doctor and this informed some of his novels including Andromeda Strain as well as a director and screenwriter.
